Sensaphone® will introduce its Sentinel™ PRO remote monitoring system, an enhanced version of the Sentinel cloud-based system that provides 24/7 remote monitoring of unattended HVAC units, freezers, refrigerators, boilers, and chillers. The Sentinel PRO system supports the Modbus communications protocol and includes a second relay output — capabilities required to monitor and control complex networks.

Daikin Applied has expanded its line of air cooled scroll chillers. The chillers are designed to help facility managers in K-12 schools better manage rising energy costs and the burdens of aging equipment. Trailblazer, the customizable chiller, is now available in sizes from 30 to 240 tons.

Johnson Controls has introduced the Quantech Air-Cooled Chillers. The company says the chillers offer up to 50% annual energy cost savings compared with the replaced chillers, have a low lifecycle cost, meet or exceed ASHRAE standards, and help earn LEED credit with a low refrigerant charge. Three models make up the Quantech chiller line. The QTC2 (15-50 tons) provides chilled water for all air conditioning applications using central station air handling or terminal units. The state-of-the-art installation uses tube and fin condensers, brazed plate evaporators, and scroll compressors.

Daikin Applied has expanded its Magnitude WMC chiller line to include four additional sizes – WMC125, 200, 225, and 275. The product is ideal for most commercial applications including hospitals, small to midsized data centers, schools, and office buildings. The company says the expanded line provides greater flexibility for engineers who can now closely match chillers to the specifications of the job and apply magnetic bearing chillers on many more projects.
