GAITHERSBURG, Md. — The NEBB board of directors named Jeffrey Schools, NEBB CP, as the 2019-2020 NEBB President during the board of directors meeting held in New Orleans last month. Schools succeeds Jim Whorton, who served as the 2018-2019 NEBB president.

"I plan to continue on the path laid out by the presidents who came before me and assure that NEBB remains the industry leader in firm and individual certification by providing superlative education and training programs. With the help of the NEBB board, staff, and multiple volunteers, we will be able to prove that we are a valuable resource."

"With Jeff's appointment as our new NEBB President, I know exciting times are ahead for our many NEBB Certified Firms, Certified Individuals, as well as various staff members and volunteers," said Tiffany Suite, executive vice president of NEBB. "For many years, he has served as an asset to NEBB, helping to promote the value of our organization and its high, trusted standards throughout the industry. I look forward to the coming year as he continues that journey and continues to help us emphasize the importance of NEBB certified firms in the mission to optimize building performance."
