DENVER — Joe Tamburini, P.E., has joined Stanley Consultants as a client service manager. Based in the firm’s Denver office, he will work to expand the firm’s industrial water and wastewater business. Founded in 1913, Stanley Consultants provides engineering, environment, and construction services worldwide.

Tamburini brings a wealth of experience in the mining and power generation sector. He is specialized in water treatment design and accomplished in performing comprehensive efficiency treatment studies, conducting pilot studies for chemical treatment technologies, and developing life cycle studies for wastewater treatment plants. He is a licensed professional engineer with a chemical engineering degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder.

Tamburini has published articles on topics that vary from “Digester Gas Energy Utilization” to “Considerations for Selenium Treatment of Mine-impacted Waters.” He is a member and past president of the Rocky Mountain Water Environmental Association (RMWEA), and recipient of the American Council of Engineering Companies’ New Faces in Engineering Award.
