Regal Beloit Corporation will debut its Elco® Sentinel™ monitoring system. The system supplies information about a motor’s actual RPM, delivered torque, and internal temperature to help overcome the major challenge facing supermarkets to assure predictive maintenance in the refrigerated display case.
The system offers night mode to identify any unusual activity surrounding the cabinet and react consequently to the detected event. The system also offers backup mode to ensure performance in the event a fan gets blocked, increasing the speed of the remaining fans to compensate for the lack of airflow to keep the product fresher for longer.
