The Air Movement and Control Association International Inc. announced that the Air System Engineering and Technology (ASET) Conference will be held for the first time March 6-7, 2018, in San Antonio.

The two-track conference focuses on design, specification, installation, commissioning, and operation of commercial and industrial air systems. One track focuses on systems and applications, the other focuses on the basics and fine points of air-system products. Topics include ASHRAE standards, energy efficiency, fire/smoke control, weather resiliency, indoor air quality, sizing/selection, and noise reduction.

"AMCA International is excited to provide engineering-level education and network opportunities to help air-systems professionals stay on top of the latest equipment, technologies, standards, and specifications in our industry," said Michael Ivanovich, AMCA senior director. "The conference presenters are experts and educators in the field who will share their knowledge and first-hand experiences."

Presenters include Steve Taylor, P.E., (principal of Taylor Associates); Jeff Boldt, P.E., LEED AP, HBDP (principal and director of innovation and quality, IMBG/KJWW), and David Sellers, P.E. (senior engineer, Facility Dynamics Engineering). Certificates documenting professional development hours will be awarded for all sessions attended.
