While I try to be a pretty agreeable guy, I cannot agree with the idea that climate change is a Chinese hoax. So after the president backed out of the Paris Climate Accord, it was pleasing to see two major organizations reaffirm key principles.
"Our member-established mission underscores our mandate to serve humanity and create a more sustainable world," said ASHRAE President Tim Wentz, who cited the mandate as more important in light of the Paris agreement. "ASHRAE is a global society of 57,000 dedicated professionals in more than 130 countries, committed to reducing the environmental impact of buildings by making them more energy efficient. Our mission will not waiver as geopolitical tides rise and fall."
