The National Environmental Balancing Bureau is offering a fume hood testing seminar and exam in Kansas City, MO. The fume hood seminar will be held June 5-6, with exam days held June 7-8.

According to NEBB officials, the seminar will provide an overview of laboratory HVAC concepts, including discussions of environmental safety enclosures, such as fume hoods, biological safety cabinets, and other containment enclosures.

Instructors will review various HVAC systems currently employed in laboratory design. The basic operation of fume hoods and other containment enclosures and their respective applications and features will also be presented.  Attendees can earn 12.25 continuing education credits from NEBB.
