Danfoss has extended its existing line of Optyma™ condensing units for the U.S. market to include the new Optyma™ Slim. According to the company, the Optyma Slim is designed for easy installation and service.
Optyma Slim features microchannel heat exchangers for high energy efficiency and low refrigerant charge as well as scroll compressors for quiet operation. The units also come pre-equipped with a defrost timer, filter drier, and sight glass to minimize installation time. Optyma Slim is available in sizes ranging from 1 hp to 8 hp for low-temperature applications and 1 hp to 10 hp for medium-temperature applications, and is available for use with R-404A and R-134a.
