SPX Cooling Technologies, Inc. introduced the Marley® CP fiberglass, induced draft, counterflow cooling tower, designed for space- and sound-sensitive applications. The CP tower features a stainless steel structure and fiberglass reinforced polyester (FRP) casing, which the company says provides a strong, corrosion-resistant assembly. The Marley CP cooling tower is factory-assembled or ships in modules.
The tower has a wide range of heat transfer fill media available to accommodate clean to very dirty water applications. Designed for industrial markets, the tower can withstand water temperatures up to 176ºF (80ºC). The Marley CP tower provides a capacity bridge between factory-assembled towers and larger, field-erected towers.
