CT/Colt’s Coltlite, a natural louvered ventilator that is installed in the façade of a building, is now available in North America. This dual-purpose product provides buildings with both day-to-day ventilation and smoke control to aid building evacuation in the event of a fire. Coltlite is offered with a number of louver and control options to complement architectural designs and to meet the ventilation requirements of any building. This product is now available from The Bilco Company in all North American markets.

The Coltlite natural ventilator is available in several standard louver designs, each offering a different appearance and performance to meet the design requirements of any building. Models are available with double pane louvers, single-pane louvers, and aluminum louvers that can be specified with a powder coat finish to match a building’s façade. Double-pane louvers are also available in a thermally broken design to minimize heat loss for reduced carbon emissions into the environment and maximum energy efficiency.

The Coltlite control options allow building design professionals to integrate natural ventilation into an automated climate control system. In addition to the standard manual operation, products can be specified for electric or pneumatic operation and set to open and close as required for proper mixed mode ventilation.
