Uponor North America is offering a PEX purple pipe in sizes up to 2 in for commercial and residential reclaimed water applications. In addition to its existing .50-, .75- and 1-in sizes, Uponor AquaPEX® Reclaimed Water pipe is now available in 1.25-, 1.5-, and 2-in sizes as well. The company reports that the new offering comes in response to a growing need for water reuse systems in drought-stricken areas around the country. Offering a reclaimed water pipe in larger sizes gives professionals the opportunity to design and install even more reclaimed water applications to help conserve fresh-water resources.
