Automated Logic Corporation (ALC) honored its top field offices during its recent annual distribution meeting in Miami. Engineered Systems and Energy Solutions, Inc. (ES2) in Oklahoma City, OK, was named Field Office of the Year; and Sunbelt Controls in Pleasanton, CA, was recognized for Project of the Year for its work at the new Levi’s® Stadium, home of the San Francisco 49ers football team and the site of the 2016 Super Bowl.

Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, CA, is one of the first professional football stadiums to achieve LEED® Gold certification, the first for new construction, and is one of the most technically interactive stadiums allowing fans to connect and interact anywhere in the facility. The $1.2 billion venue has 1.85 million sq ft and seats approximately 68,500 fans.

Sunbelt Controls, one of ALC’s largest independent dealers, installed ALC’s WebCTRL® building automation system to control and monitor the entire facility’s HVAC equipment and control plant, consisting of six boilers and two large cooling towers. The project also includes more than 30 air handlers, over 500 VAV boxes, 24 kitchen systems, and 130 water source heat pumps.

“Beyond our strong capability to meet a tight construction schedule, one of the deciding factors in awarding Sunbelt the contract was WebCTRL’s clean thermographic interface, which quickly identifies any issue, and the ability to securely access the system remotely from anywhere using mobile devices,” said Michael Ridout, vice president of Sunbelt Controls. “We were honored to represent Automated Logic and be a part of this great project.”

The Field Office of the Year Award is presented each year to the top field office that demonstrates superior field performance, sustained yearly growth, excellence in customer service, and reputation in its region. According to ALC, since 2008, ES2 has become known as a leading energy services and building automation source, providing expertise, product, and respected customer service to clients that include the state of Oklahoma, Devon Energy, Oklahoma City Thunder, and the University Hospitals Trust.

“We are proud to honor ES2 for all of their contributions and accomplishments this past year,” said Mead Rusert, president of Automated Logic.
