Greenheck was awarded second place in the 2014 Wisconsin Society of Professional Engineers New Product Competition in the Large Company Category for its Variable Geometry Nozzle used on laboratory exhaust systems. The purpose of the Governor’s New Product Award’s program is to recognize the full spectrum of benefits that come from the research and engineering of new products.

Greenheck says its variable geometry nozzle is sustainable, saves energy, and ensures that laboratory exhaust fumes are safely discharged away from the roof deck at a constant velocity. The variable geometry nozzle can be used on a wide variety of laboratory exhaust applications for isolation rooms; hospitals; and high school university, forensic, pharmaceutical, bio-tech, and general research laboratories.

According to Jim McIntyre, president and CEO of the Greenheck Group, this award is another validation of Greenheck’s focus on innovation and continued product development.
