Beijing International Building Technology conference concludes with positive results
The Beijing International Building Technology conference successfully concluded its 2015 edition on May 13 at the Rosedale Hotel & Suites in Beijing. The half-day conference was focused on the theme of “China Green Building and Energy-Saving Technology,” and gathered speakers from government authorities, industry organizations, institutes, and corporations under one roof. Industry hot-button topics such as green building policies, cutting edge lighting design, as well as HVAC technology, were discussed during the event and well-received by more than 100 attendees from different sectors.
First-time speaker, Yuan Ling, deputy head of the ecological planning and green architecture department for the Architectural Design and Research Institute of Tsinghua University Co. Ltd., shared insights on green housing design under China’s new urbanization drive. He said: “The conference served as an excellent platform for intellectual exchange. I had the chance to network with industry elites, and I really appreciated this invaluable opportunity provided by the organizer. During the sharing, the interaction with the audience was good and overall I think the conference was successful.”
