Continental Fan’s new EC Motorized Impellers combine the efficiency of a backward curved impeller with the advanced technology of an electronically commutated (EC) external rotor motor. According to the company, the reduced power consumption of the high efficiency motor directly translates to savings.  

EC Impellers are ideally suited for many air-moving applications including cooling of motor controls, electronics, power converter cabinets, and modular air conditioners.  Continental Fan offers a complete line of axial and centrifugal motorized impellers with AC, DC, or EC high efficiency motors.

Features of the impeller also include 1-10 VDC or PWM motor control, input voltage of 208 – 277V 50/60 Hz single phase, capacities to 1,139 cfm, and ErP and RoHs compliance.
