Air Solution Co. has introduced a Cottonwood Filter Screen and Hail Guard System. The system can stop hail and debris from causing problems in an HVAC system. They are compatible with all equipment makes and models and can protect air coils, air-handling units, cooling towers, louvers, and more. The filters are HVAC engineered with non-stick, vinyl-coated polyester mesh. They are flame resistant, as well as UV, mold, and mildew resistant. The company claims the filters are tear resistant, high strength, and have a service life of up to 15 years. The manufacturer also says they can reduce maintenance time and effort up to 70% versus conventional maintenance methods. The can also increase the life of internal consumable filters up to 60%, reduce water treatment chemical consumption up to 50% on cooling towers, and reduce energy costs by up to 30%
