The Associated General Contractors of America will hold its 95th annual convention March 3-6 at the Bellagio Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. Attendees of the AGC convention will receive free admission to the CONEXPO-CON/AGC, which features more than 2,000 exhibitors showcasing the latest construction technologies and products.

The AGC convention will feature several educational sessions covering a variety of construction topics, including BIM, lean practices, sustainability and the green market, and more. Many of the sessions include continuing education credits.

High-profile speakers will also be a part of the AGC event. Former Secretary of Defense Robert Gates will speak at the March 3 opening session. During the WILLIS Safety Awards breakfast on March 5, Captain Richard Phillips will be on hand. Phillips is the author of “A Captain's Duty: Somali Pirates, Navy SEALs, and Dangerous Days at Sea.” The book covered his rescue from Somali Pirates, which was also documented in the film Captain Phillips starring Tom Hanks.
