The new FLIR MR77 moisture meter is designed to help users tackle critical HVAC, restoration, and remediation projects. According to the company, the device accurately measures moisture content in a wide range of wood types and building materials using a pinless sensor that captures non-destructive readings up to 0.75 in below material surfaces. This new meter is also equipped to measure moisture levels with an external pin probe. The FLIR MR77 also features a unique field-replaceable temperature and humidity sensor, a non-contact, laser-spot IR thermometer for measuring surface temperatures, Bluetooth® connectivity to Android™ devices to view readings remotely, and the ability to transmit measurement data to METERLiNK®-enabled FLIR thermal cameras.
