Heat exchangers: Alfa Laval CB110

The Alfa Laval CB110 completes the company’s new upgraded range of CB brazed plate heat exchangers. Officials claim the CB range features efficient heat transfer with an extremely small footprint, making them ideal for installations where space is at a premium. The CB range is designed with thin, corrugated stainless steel plates that are brazed together with copper, forming a self-contained unit that can handle both high pressures and high temperatures. Unlike traditional designs, the CB range of brazed plate heat exchangers consist solely of surfaces that actively contribute to heat transfer. This results in increased efficiency and reduced costs. The CB range is available in four sizes - CB30, CB60, CB110 and CB112, with varying plate patterns and connections for all HVAC applications and performance specifications.
