The new Criti-Clean Intelligent Fan Filter Unit is suited for clean rooms and hospital operating rooms.

A-J Manufacturing recently introduced the Criti-Clean fan filter unit (FFU), a fan-powered laminar flow HEPA filter diffuser. This new computer-controlled FFU features a variable-speed ECM motor, stainless steel construction and an all-welded plenum built to meet the latest pressure testing standards.

"We’re very excited to add the Criti-Clean FFU to our complete line of custom and standard stainless steel air distribution products," said Rob Haake of A-J Manufacturing. "Our new Criti-Clean FFU will make designing and constructing new clean room environments in existing buildings easier, because the unit’s fan and motor supply its own airflow, so there’s no need to re-route existing HVAC systems."

The new Criti-Clean FFU is designed to provide constant airflow, automatically compensating for changes in filter load, static pressure and more. It also supplies a higher CFM output than competitive models.

Available in 48- x 24-in. and 24- x 24-in. models, the Criti-Clean FFU accommodates a Gel Seal HEPA or ULPA filter, which can be easily replaced from the face of the unit.
