Multistack, a leader in modular chillers - air and water cooled - has added a new product offering in its Airstack product catalog. The Airstack ASP30X is already known in the HVAC world for its single point microprocessor-based control system, built-in redundancy via independent refrigerant circuits, simple future expansion, low sound signature and critical cooling applications.

For 2010, Multistack took all of the existing features and added microchannel heat exchangers that reduce the refrigerant charge by 35% to 40% to increase LEED contributions. And, thanks to the microchannel heat exchangers superior heat transfer characteristics a 20% air side pressure drop helps create a 6% increase in energy efficiency.

 Finally, maintenance gets easier since high pressure water cleaning of the heat exchangers is possible.
