Schwankis
proud to announce the launch of ultraSchwank: Our most efficient, gas-fired
radiant tube heater in North America, suitable for indoor industrial and
commercial applications, with ceiling heights up to seventy five feet.
The industry-first
breakthrough features of ultraSchwank: new burner incorporating the latest
computer simulation design, and the development of the first insulated
reflector system incorporating the same insulation used by NASA. According to the company, this is the first burner to be designed following a
Computational Fluid Dynamics [CFD] model. The insulated reflector system
captures convection heat, and increases tube and inner reflector surface
temperatures, for superior heat retention, and greater comfort at lower air
temperatures. Because more heat is directed where required, convection heat
losses have been drastically reduced, with the added benefit of up to 30% to
50% reduction of minimum clearance to combustibles required for installation.
ultraSchwank can
be safely tucked into a roof structure like no other heater can, the company says. Due to these
innovations, ultraSchwank, is the only tube heater converting up to 62%* of
fuel energy into infrared energy, to generate up to 55% more heat than conventional
radiant tube systems, while reducing fuel consumption and carbon emissions by
50%.
ultraSchwank is available in input capacities from
60,000 Btuh to 200,000 Btuh and lengths from 20 to 70 ft.
