Taco, Inc. announced the availability of new support stands for its vertical inline pump offerings for use in HVAC and industrial applications as well as domestic water service.

These optional support stands, made of rugged ductile iron, can be added to all Taco KV Vertical In-Line Pumps and KS Vertical Split-Coupled Pump models. The already small footprint of KV and KS pumps in tight mechanical rooms (they require no isolation pad), is further enhanced with the support stand’s easy access bolt holes, making installation and maintenance that much easier. KV Vertical In-Line Pumps’ close-coupled design results in improved alignment and increased seal life, and their standard seal design allows flexibility of seal options. Service, if ever needed, is made easier because KV Pumps pull out from the back and the pump doesn’t need to be disconnected from the piping system.

KS Vertical Split-Coupled In-Line Pumps’ split-coupled design enables seal change-out without the need to disturb the motor or piping. The axial load is hydraulically balanced to increase bearing life, deliver better pump efficiencies and lower NPSH requirements.

Both KV and KS Pumps come with standard high efficiency impellers on all models, and their replaceable casing, wear ring and pump support bracket save money.
