Also integrated in this release is an Object Relational Mapping API feature which provides a mechanism for Niagara applications to store components in a relational database for use by applications with large quantities of data. In addition, an enhanced Niagara Virtual Points feature has been included to provide a way to monitor data that is important but not required in the control logic, alarming, or trend data. This gives users the advantage of not taking up permanent database space or consuming network bandwidth for data that is rarely accessed.
