The Sustainable Buildings Industry Council, along with its sponsors, announced the 2007 Beyond Green High Performance Building Awards. This unique program recognizes the initiatives that shape, inform and catalyze the high-performance building market, as well as the real-world application of high performance design and construction practices.

Award winners will be invited to present their projects at the National Building Museum in Washington D.C. The program will be held on January 16, 2008 in conjunction with a U.S. Department of Energy sponsored lecture series.

So that others may learn from this process-winning projects will also be published on the Whole Building Design Guide website which is managed by the National Institute of Building Science. By the end of 2007, the total annual page views onwww.wbdg.orgwill exceed 10 million!
