Alan V. Shepherd, former national account and marketing manager at Owens Corning, has accepted the position of national sales manager for insulation products at Armacell LLC.

He has more than 20 years experience in sales and marketing management and sales training, with a focus on national account development as well as extensive technical expertise in the building sciences, sustainable building solutions and energy usage.

As Armacell national sales manager, Shepherd will oversee the mechanical insulation sales organization, sales strategies and customer relations throughout North America.  He fills a position formerly held by Kartik Patel, now Armacell general manager for insulation products.
