Burns & McDonnell, a Kansas City-based A/E/C and environmental and consulting services firm, has been selected to provide A/E design services for a state-of-the art technology and training center in Doha, Qatar.

The new 144,000-sq-ft General Electric (GE) Technology and Learning Center is being funded by the Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development and will be occupied by GE under a long-term lease. It will be a center for advanced training and education for GE’s aviation, energy, global research, oil and gas, plastics and water technologies business groups located in the Middle East, Asia, Europe and Africa.
