Randy Petit of Ama, LA, has been promoted to director of program development for HVAC Excellence.

Petit brings over 35 years of experience as an HVACR field technician and owner of a contracting company. He has over 23 years experience in HVACR education with the Louisiana Technical College System as a teacher, faculty advisor for Skills USA and Department head for Technology Programs.  Petit served for several years on the board of directors for the Louisiana Heat Pump Association, Lower River Region Chapter and two year as a technical advisor to the Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Dealers Association of Louisiana.
