Metal Industries has a long history of operating their manufacturing facilities with an eye towards the recycling of materials. Examples include the use of recycled aluminum in extruded products and recycled paper used in product packaging.

Metal Industries, Inc. announced that Metal Industries has joined the USGBC. “Our company has embraced sustainability to minimize the negative impact our manufacturing facilities and products have on the environment,” said Damian Macaluso, president of Metal Industries.

“Becoming a member of the US Green Building Council will not only re-enforce the effort we make at our facilities to be environmentally friendly, but also supports our efforts to continue to reduce the energy consumption of the products we produce, this applies to all our HVAC brands which include Metalaire, Prefco, and USAire,” added Macaluso.

Metal Industries has a long history of operating their manufacturing facilities with an eye towards the recycling of materials. Examples include the use of recycled aluminum in extruded products and recycled paper used in product packaging.

All of the Metal Industries plants have a scrap recovery program where waste from the manufacturing processes are collected to be recycled.
