The company has added a 16 in. model to its Cool Compression™ line of single-screw compressors. The unit uses the efficiency of direct contact heat transfer to cool the compressor oil right in the oil separators, eliminating the need for an oil cooler. The unit also reduces oil carryover and eliminates oil foaming, according to the manufacturer.
