The Unified Group, a national network of 32 pre-eminent HVAC mechanical contractors who share a commitment to remaining independent while providing quality service to clients, has formed a board of advisors to oversee the Group' s five business areas, including purchasing, national accounts, membership, training and marketing. Serving two-year terms as chairs and co-chairs of the new board are: Marty Indursky, owner of Encon Mechanical in Ocean, NJ; co-chair David Nichols, operations manager of Climate Systems in Williston, VT; national accounts chair, John Blaylock, general manager of Wiegmann Associates in St. Charles, MO, and his co-chair is Tom Foldes, vice president of business development at Baker Group in Des Moines, IA.

Heading membership is Blaz Lucas, vice president of Air Comfort Corporation in Broadview, IL, and his co-chair is Chris Hightower, president of Air Management Systems, Inc. in Miami.

Training is being headed by John Philbin, president of Guardian Environmental Services in Livonia, MI, whose co-chair is Brett Holscher, operations manager of Bubeck Service, Inc. in Lenexa, KS.

Jeffrey Chambers, vice president of service at Desert Refrigeration & Heating in Phoenix, will oversee marketing with the help of co-chair Tom Payne, general service manager of Miller Bonded in Albuquerque.
