Boiler Manufacturer Lends Hand in Co-op Learning Program
A cooperative learning program designed to introduce students to the hvacr world as a potential career choice was recently buoyed by the donation of a residential boiler. Smith Cast Iron Boilers (Westfield, MA) donated the boiler to the Bay Path Vocational technical High School in Charlton, Massachusetts.
The school, which already has air conditioning/refrigeration program, will now offer the heating program to senior year students. It will provide students with an introduction to oil heating and include hands-on instruction in heating circuits, wiring and piping.
