The Model 8051 Communications Bridge allows interoperability of non-DeviceNet controllers and devices to a DeviceNet network, according to the manufacturer. Other protocols that can be translated include BACnet, Modbus, DF1, DH+ Modbus Plus, CB Hawk, and LonWorks. The bridge can accept up to 10 different serial inputs in addition to two Ethernet links and an additional port for special adapter cards.
