ProTeus II combines CS2 database optimization technology with the latest Microsoft and Oracle database servers. The result, according to the manufacturer, is the ability to complete maintenance management tasks three to five times faster than with other programs. Maintenance managers can develop preventive maintenance (PM) schedules, control parts inventories, and keep equipment and tool repair records. Other features include PM shadowing, data import, multisite client access, budgeting capability, and Internet access through e-mail, pager, and website functions.
