New nozzle silencers for the company's Tri-Stack™ roof exhaust fans are now available. The nozzle silencers are designed to provide high attenuation values to help reduce fan noise at the property line. The company says their low profile design is aesthetically pleasing, minimizing the perception of tall stacks on the building's roofline. Dynamic insertion losses for the nozzle silencers range from -6dBa at 8 KHz to -15 dBa at 1 KHz. The company says this exceeds or matches attenuation values for typical in-line silencers across the tested frequency range of 63 Hz to 8 KHz, says the company.
