Expansion to the Weil-McLain¿s Product Engineering Lab in Michigan City, IN, is in full swing. The $1,250,000 project is set for completion in the fall of 2001. The new facility will almost triple the size of the old lab, taking the overall square footage from 3,500 to 9,500. Such a dramatic difference in space will increase the number of test bays from 7 to 14. In addition, there will be a total of nine life cycle test bays, which will allow for 18 boiler tests to run simultaneously.
