The Melink Intelli-Hood™ operator is meant to save fan energy and conditioned air during idle, non-cooking periods by reducing the hood exhaust (and makeup) fan speeds. A temperature and photoelectric sensor monitors the heat and smoke load inside the hood, and a motor speed controller varies the frequency and voltage to standard 3-phase motors. New features include a stylish keypad, replacing light/fan toggle switches, and state-of-the-art motor controllers.
