Siemens Building Technologies, Inc.: zone valves
January 5, 2001
The company says it provides a variety of zone valves for terminal applications. Its new VVP45 two-port seat and VXP45 three-port seat valves are designed to work well in extreme pressure environments. It also offers existing 2W (two-port) and 3W (three-port) valves, which are designed to work well in water applications where temperatures range significantly. With a stem stroke of 5.5 mm, particle buildup in the VP45 is “virtually eliminated,” says the company. The VP45 zone valves can also be used to fit in the exact location of the 2W or 3W valves they are replacing, without repiping or piping hardware.
