Through a government program, "Buildings and Health," France is establishing a permanent system for collecting data on air pollution in various living spaces nationwide and the characteristics of the exposure of the population to this pollution.
France's Monitoring Center for Indoor Air Quality will organize measurement programs for air sampling and gather information, including building characteristics and behavior of occupants, at a rate of 800 living spaces per year. In addition, it will gather all the public utility data available on the national scale on indoor air quality.
