The company says its TG-2400KA gas leak detector features a 0 to 199 ppm ammonia measurement range, local LCD readout, and audio/visual alarm indicators. The unit is designed to operate for up to 30 hrs from its rechargeable Ni/Cd battery. It is designed to respond to a 15 ppm leak in less than 10 seconds and is capable of measuring concentrations as low as 1 ppm, says the company. Specially designed for refrigeration leak detection, the company says its instrument’s ammonia sensor can withstand exposures high in ammonia concentrations for up to 30 minutes without permanent damage or loss of sensitivity.
