Lenox Instrument Co.: borescopes bulletin
September 18, 2000
This illustrated color bulletin describes the company’s new expandable Universal Inspector Borescope System, designed to perform the functions of up to 18 conventional borescopes, says the company. The two-page data sheet, which includes photos and diagrams, explains how the company’s modular, high-resolution, fiber-optic inspection instrument meets a wide variety of application requirements by offering multiple diameters, working lengths, and viewing angles. According to the company, the borescope can inspect turbines, welds, joints, tubing, castings, and many other areas, spotting corrosion, leaks, cracks, or other defects through openings as small as 3Ú16 in.
