The company says its new family of "eco2" chillers are "designed to provide the dual advantages of ecology and economy." The new line of air-cooled screw chillers has been optimized for use with HFC-407C and is available for use in capacities from 80 to 200 tons. According to the company, its advanced counterflow heat exchanger and evaporator technology, including the addition of the company's suction line heat exchanger, allow the eco2 chiller to "fully exploit the unique temperature glide properties afforded by HFC-407C."
