The board of governors of the North American Insulation Manufacturers Association (NAIMA) (Alexandria, VA) announced the results of the ballot for new officers to serve in 2001 and 2002. Michael P. Kane was elected as NAIMA’s chairman of the board. He is senior vice president of the insulation group for Johns Manville Corp. (Denver), and responsible for all insulation products for commercial, industrial and residential use. Kane will also serve as chairman of NAIMA’s executive committee. George E. Kiemle was elected as NAIMA’s vice chairman of the board of governors. He is vice president for Owens Corning (Toledo, OH) and president of the insulating systems business, the company’s largest business center.
