Instructors from across America will attend the Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Institute (ARI) (Arlington, VA) workshop in Arlington on hvac/r. Training is set for March 14-15, 2002.

"The HVACR Instructor Workshop is an excellent way for instructors in our industry to ensure that the most current information is being taught to students who subsequently become employees," said Scott Boxer, chairman of ARI's Education and Training Committee.

Last year's workshop attracted more than 140 instructors from secondary and post-secondary programs in 32 states. "We found that the program of educational information, personal networking and updates on industry information received high marks from the attendees," said Leslie Sandler, ARI director of Education and Training.

There is no fee for the workshop, but attendees must pay their own travel expenses. Attendance is limited and registration is underway. Anyone in the HVACR instructional field who would like a registration packet or more information on the workshop should contact Leslie Sandler in the ARI Education Department at 703-524-8800 or Leslie Sandler .
