The Design Build Institute of Americarecently bestowed the 2001 National Design-Build Award of Excellence in the "Best Project-Industrial Process Sector under $25 million" to the team ofC&I Engineering and James N. Gray Companyfor design of the Amfine Chemical Corporation facility in Hopkinsville, KY.

The very first production from the facility exceeded the owners' specifications for quality and resulted in commercial production of marketable product six months earlier than expected.
