Continuing on from last month's discussion on the importance of the mechanical, electrical, and communication (MEC) coordinator, I want to suggest a training process for up-and-coming MEC coordinators, as well as a refresher course for current MEC coordinators.
For example, if the candidate doesn't know the difference between a constant-volume air-handling system, and a variable-volume air-handling system then an introduction course on these building systems needs to be developed before the student is qualified to begin the coordination of these MEC systems.
