Demetrious C. Koutsoftas, P.E., G.E., associate principal atArup'sSan Francisco office, has won the 2004 Ralph B. Peck Award for his paper "Post-Preload Settlements of a Soft Bay Mud Site." The paper published in ASCE's Geotechnical Speciality Publication No. 119, was entitled "Soil Behaviour and Soft Ground Construction."
