Warren City Schools, Warren, OH, has selected the design team ofFanning/Howey Associates, Inc. and Olsavsky Jaminet Architectsfor their upcoming building program. The school district will learn this summer if the state will fund their $176 million project in 2003 at 80% of the cost. If funded, the bond issue for the local amount of 20% will go before the voters in November. Beginning in February, Fanning/Howey Associates will be conducting a community engagement process to assist in determining the facility master plan. The state has recommended that 16 of the 17 schools in the district be replaced with new buildings for the 7,000-student district in northeast Ohio.
