July 26, 2004
RSEScurrently has 22 training courses totaling 940 continuing education hours that have been recognized byNorth American Technician Excellence (NATE) . Technicians who successfully complete one or more of these courses will receive credit toward renewing their NATE certification. Technicians seeking NATE re-certification must complete 60-plus hours of NATE-recognized training within the last five years to earn re-certification with continuing education credits and to avoid taking a re-certification exam.
The NATE recognition of RSES Technical Institute Manuals 1-3 is effective immediately. Other RSES training courses that have been recognized by NATE include Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (R/AC) Units 1-6; Heating Units 1-4; Electricity Units 1-5; Controls Units 1, 3, and 4; and Heat Pump.
