Seminole Electric Cooperative of Tampa, FL, has selectedBurns & McDonnellto design a new $1.2 billion coal-fired power plant. To be known as Seminole Generating Station Unit 3, it will have a capacity of 750 mW and be built alongside existing generating units in Palatka, FL.
